Doshab is an Oriental sugar free dessert with a sweet and exquisite taste. It is prepared by boiling down of white mulberry, grapes, apricot, pomegranate (pomegranate syrup, mulberry syrup/Narsharab) or some other fruits, until the boiled syrup turns into a honey-like thick mass with dark color. Mulberry syrup has healing effects. The syrup is used in traditional medicine as a cough remedy and as a natural antibiotic. Grape doshab is used to prepare Mulled wine/termon (boiled wine) and many other desserts: churchkhelas, sujuk.
